For those who would like to add more embroidery to their repertoire, this exquisite sampler quilt, designed by Maureen Latta, has pieced blocks beautifully embellished with delicate ribbon embroidery and charms to create a quilt like no other.

A pretty, free-standing scalloped edge is punctuated by woven roses with trailing tendrils which outline the quilt border.

The array of delicate stitches weave in and out of the design on a beautiful background of soft rose petals and gentle vines in a truly creative way.

Twilight Garden is due to start as an in-house "Block of the Month"
project in February run via Faeries in my Garden at Shorncliffe (QLD) with tuition
provided by quilt designer, Maureen Latta.
